“Only Jesus is the Christ”
IMMANUEL CHURCH LOS ANGELES
We are a church of multi-ethnic disciples who believe and spread this.
This gospel movement, which started in Mark’s upper room, is the work of God absolutely necessary for us living in the 21st century.
We believe in God’s absolute plan where we live, and we are a church that continually testifies to the Word of God’s Gospel.
(Ac 9:15) But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.
(Is 60:1) Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. (2) For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.
Rev. Charles Sungill Ahn
On the fourth Thursday of March 1996, while listening to the Word at the Evangelism Institute, God made me realize for the first time that Jesus is the Christ who solved all problems.
After that day, my eyes to see the world began to change, and I, who was stained with the world, began to change. I want everyone in the world to receive this blessing like me. While listening to the Word of God, I gained strength.
and in May I started to evangelize at Seoul National University for the first time.
After that day, the door of evangelism continued to open to me. Even before a year passed, in 1997, there were opportunities to preach the Gospel at Harvard University in the United States and Tokyo University in Japan. God has guided me to continue preaching the Gospel in universities in Korea and other countries.
In 2000, God showed me the European field where the church was destroyed In 2001, the door was opened for ministry while studying theology in Los Angeles. I was able to fully devote myself to the Remnant movement in the United States, and I was ordained a pastor in 2008.
From 2009, I served as Dean of Academic Affairs at Remnant University, my alma mater, and I have been working as Dean of Student Affairs since 2013.
Since 2011, I have been pastoring and planting Immanuel Church Los Angeles in downtown Los Angeles.
Since 2017, I have been serving as General Secretary of the Remnant Movement in America.
Born in a devout Buddhist family and an idol-worshiping family, Christ saved me for the first time in our family when I was in the first grade of elementary school, and gave me grace to call me into the race of evangelists and the Remnant movement. I give all the glory to God who saved me.
Now, God wants you to give the same grace to you who have read this article.
